Beware of false prophets!
We all must sharpen our abilities to discern for there are many false
prophets going out into the world. (1 John 4:1-6) We cannot believe
every spirit for some spirits are lying spirits and error spirits. If
you listen to those voices, you will bring bondage to yourself.
Jesus comes to set us FREE and grant us liberty. Satan aims at
stealing and destroying our blessings. How can you recognize true
servants of God? True servants of God have the same nature of Christ,
who will always give you freedom. You will feel comfortable hanging
around with them. Even their prophecies bring life and health to you.
Beloved, beware of false teachers and prophets! They may sound like
true as they cover themselves with an imitation of the truth. However,
once they speak, the whole atmosphere will be weighted down by
oppression. Their so-called prophecies bring manipulation and control
to your soul. Don’t marvel when they sound like prophesizing. Those
prophecies are not from the Lord but those information are from
familiar spirits or divination spirits. Their own pride of being
‘somebody’ has driven themselves to deception. Satan takes advantage
of their desire to be ‘somebody’ by giving them the abilities to know
people’s information. It sounds like word of knowledge or prophecy.
They are deceived to believe that they own lots of gifts.
Unfortunately, they don’t know that they are constantly used by Satan
to bring destruction to God’s people.
Beloved, we cannot allow ourselves to be babies any more. In this end
day, we cannot wait for elders to feed us some meat. We ourselves must
train ourselves up in discerning good and evil. Our whole beings must
be saturated by truth so that the wicked one cannot deceive us.
Now it’s time to rise up and resist any false doctrine or deception.
We are Christ’ soldiers and we must help those who are still weak in
discernment. God’s purpose for us is to walk in liberty and have the
power to overcome all evils.
